This is a story I am currently working on developing. Our protagonists are Lilly, Nicky and Kosei, three first grade kids that become friends through helping each other learn in ways that are easier for each depending on their type of learning. (Ex.: association, drawing, etc.)
The book also includes diverse characters in sense of race, ethnicity and perceived disabilities. (As you can see, Lilly is a bit short in one arm, but that didn't stop her from becoming amazing at gymnastics.)
This concept was created and developed by myself (Veronica Parra) under the "Let's Make Picture Books" community hosted by Denise Holmes and Stephanie Fizer Coleman.
